The South Pole Expeditions with Captain Sir James Clark Ross and famous botanist Joseph Dalton Hooker. 
Home port between missions to Antarctica, in Hobart, Van Dieman's land (Tasmania). Captain Crozier vs Tasmanian Tiger.
Stuck in the ice. In 1845 Francis Crozier was selected as second in command of the Franklin expedition but he was only permitted to choose one crew member for HMS Terror. He chose Thomas Jopson. His affection for his steward unintentionally lead to Thomas Jopson's death.
